Mahopac Chamber of Commerce Street Festival
& Merchant Showcase Our Community Street Festival & Merchant Showcase is a new event that we started in 2003; featuring food, vendors & entertainment for all who attend. The food court is filled with local caterers, restaurants and chamber members selling a wide variety of food & drink. We offer lots of activities, most are free of charge or cost a nominal fee thanks to the donations of many generous chamber members: For the children we have a climbing wall, a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, tattoos, a magician, train rides, carnival games, a giant slide and other inflatable rides. In the gazebo we have music all day long provided free of charge by many talented local musicians. This event substantiates our slogan “Shop Local” since it would not be possible without the sponsorships of your local merchants like Guide Communications, SusCom Cable, The Mahopac National Bank, and many other Chamber members.
 Volunteers are always needed to help set up and take down. Please consider helping; it is actually more fun than work and a great way to get to know some of your fellow Chamber members. If you can volunteer some time, please call the Chamber office at 845 628-5553. |
