The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the Chambers of Commerce and law enforcement throughout PutnamCounty, is establishing a Merchant Alert System (M.A.S.). The purpose of the M.A.S. is to keep businesses throughout PutnamCounty informed of law enforcement issues that affect the business community.  The system will disseminate this information via email directly to those businesses who sign up for the service.  For those businesses who do not have email capability, we are asking their respective Chamber of Commerce to keep them informed via facsimile. 

The information required for participating in the Putnam County Merchant Alert System is contained in the form to follow. After this system is in effect for sixty to ninety days, we will host a meeting at the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office with representatives from each Chamber of Commerce to conduct an in-progress review (IPR) on the system to determine how all of us in law enforcement can better serve the business community of PutnamCounty.
